Hi all. (im on my sisters account lol)
Okay so about 10 years ago i had my first "bf" i wouldnt even call it that lol. we knew eachother for a little while and lost our virginities to eachother. we never really dated just sortof hooked up i guess. Okay so anyways, i moved to nyc about 1 year ago, and i ran into his best friend. (they were friends throughout highschool so this is how i knew him). He lives two floors above me, and have been really great friends since we met. anyways, we are both intrested in becoming more than friends. the thing is is hes still bf with my "ex" from highschool. Do you think thats a problem? (my ex is married and has a family now but...) would that be weird for them? Just wondering....

In this case, it's been so long ago, it doesn't matter. You've grown up since then and you are no longer the person you were when you were with the first bf, just as he's no longer the same person.

If it still bothers you, look at it from this way--If he were dating a close female friend or relative of your's would you have a problem with it?

i think of in case you and ur ex hav broken up for a mutually as and given eachother time to heal after the destroy up then i think of its ok, ASLONG as you be quickly up with ur ex and tell him which you and this different guy have emotions for eachother and prefer to start courting yet you wanted to be certain if he replace into pleased with this 1st because of the fact it may seem somewhat extraordinary or frightening for ur ex... So purely see regardless of if he's pleased with it formerly you go forward with something.. im confident in case you have been aside for a mutually as then he could be positive... yet its consistently sturdy to get his opinion 1st for the reason that's his suited chum!

I think it would be fine. Your ex is married and has his own life, so he couldn't complain. You need to live your life how you want to. If your ex's best friend makes you happy, then spend your time with him and see what happens :-)

if it is 12 years in the past and your ex has a family then it shouldn't be a problem at all....if it is then that is weird.

yeah. its your life. your ex should be happy for his friend, otherwise, he was a pathetic friend. Your ex shouldn;t care if it was that long ago. no worries!
