...it is only at his resurrection that the New Age began.
Anyone who argues that is totally out of touch with all Christian theology. Go ahead. Tell me all about it.

All of Jesus's miracles can be explained as parlor tricks as can the miracles of Moses of the Old Testament.

At the same time, some of the ideas from both Judaism and Christianity (Old and New Testaments) do change some lives.

Thoughts are things.

Ideas are powerful.

Jesus was a sailor
When he walked upon the water
And he spent a long time watching
From his lonely wooden tower
And when he knew for certain
Only drowning men could see him
He said "All men will be sailors then
Until the sea shall free them"
But he himself was broken
Long before the sky would open
Forsaken, almost human
He sank beneath your wisdom like a stone
And you want to travel with him
And you want to travel blind
And you think maybe you'll trust him
For he's touched your perfect body with his mind.

Uh no...if by referencing the 'New Age' you mean Paganism and Witchcraft, that was around long before Christianity and if by 'parlor tricks' you mean what Chris Angel or David Copperfield do then no because neither one of them have multiplied fish and had anyone eat it. ;) I love how people act like spirituality wasn't even around before Christianity came along. Sounds like you're out of touch with history.

Those 'tricks' were attributed to Simon Magus, who happened to be a real historical figure. Whereas, there is no proof that Jesus even existed.

Today we see David Blaine and Criss Angel doing the same sort of things.

I've never done either of those in my parlor. They'd be great entertainment if I could. (The short answer is: NO.)
