I used to believe in god and I used to believe that god used evolution to create us. I am now Wiccan and believe that god does not exist and I still believe in the theory of evolution. I wanted to know what those who do NOT believe in the theory of evolution think about it.

Someone get my some facts that disprove the theory of evolution and email them to me. If I don't get any I will post facts supporting the theory of evolution. If I get them I'll think it over some more and post an apology if they sound realistic. And no the bible doesn't count.

BWHAHAHAHA!!!!!
I would hardly call opinions "fact" and estimates "data". Even (honest) proponents of evolution will agree with that.
Heck, evolutionists can't even agree on WHICH theory of evolution is correct!
Which Evolution is "Fact"? Darwinian? Lamarckian? Gould? Wallace?
Darwin says evolution happened over millions of years via barely perciptible but gradual changes against astronomical odds.
Gould says evolution occurred in quantum leaps ("allopatric speciation") after long, dormant periods lasting millions of years ("punctuated equilibria").
Isn't it funny how two "facts" contradict each other???

Odd you should ask that..
Last night I pulled out one of my Biology Books (strongly supports evolution)
and the Bible and did a little side by side comparison
of what both said. I hope I can reliably recall what each said
But here is the jest of it all.
Evolution said: that in the beginning there was no life at all.
not even light.
Bible: In the beginning there was nothing
Evolution: Then there was irradiation
Bible: Then there was light
Evolution: Then there were small creatures
Bible: Then there as life in the sea.
Evolution: Then there was vegetation
Bible: Then there was vegetation
Evolution: Then there was animal life, and fish
Bible: Then there were fish and animals crawled onto land.
Evolution: Large animals
Bible: Then there were beasts of the field.
Evolution: Then man kind
Bible: then Man
When you consider that the origins of the Bible began around 4000 years ago (Moses). And that information had been passed on from Generation to Generation until Moses recorded it...
Who told those first folks how life came about in the very beginning? I don't think 10,000 years ago there very many scientists. Yet the comparison that I was looking at last night was uncanny.
Best advice to all... find a good biology book... even if it strongly supports evolution... and make that comparison.
Make your own decision.

Hmmm... now... since when did evolution become more than a theory? It's interesting that both require "belief in."
The Bible doesn't theorize, as much as predict. Have you ever read anything about those predictions? Many have come into fulfillment.
Take a look at the book, "The Case for Christ," by Lee Strobel. And while you're at it? God bless you with wise ears and a gentle heart.
Best wishes. I pray for you.

I might desire to consider Enchantress. very nicely written. i do no longer shop on with the Christian god. He, extremely, has executed no longer something for me. i've got continually been called to a distinctive pantheon, and those gods have executed wonders for me. they create me peace, they forewarn me approximately themes that are going to happen, to enable me prepare for them. and specifically situations, i'm getting an incredible marvel :) the excellent occasion I even have of something that resembles "information" is that one evening I had a dream, Anpu got here to me and instructed me that i necessary to do something (i can't submit to in recommendations now, ingredients for a ritual for him, in all threat) and that i instructed him i grow to be apprehensive approximately funds. He responded that if funds grow to be a controversy, he'd see what he ought to do. the following day, I went to a transport for pizza, and the guy gave me a $50 tip. funds issues not greater :P the international works in mysterious strategies. fact is, i'm no longer apprehensive approximately proving my gods to anybody. they're genuine to me, and that's what concerns.

Let me quote Phoebe from friends:
"So what you have to ask yourself, is who put all that 'evidence' there?"
LOL! No, but seriously, I think one of the strongest arguements against evolution is the fact were sitting here having this debate. Do fish swim around debating where they came from? Do Apes? I don't think so!
Every other animal on earth is engaged with one thing - survival. So I can happily agree with evolutionists that the animals evolved via survival of the fittest.
But why did we evolve this philosophical bent? What possible use could it have? Why do we debate? Why, for that matter do we paint, build beautiful buildings, write novels, go to the theatre, compose symphonies? None of these things help us survive! So, looking at that evidence, I think humans must be seperate from the animals. Created, not evolved.

Can you give me some of the facts?
My faith is what it is..."Faith is the substances of things hoped for and certain of what I can not see"
I don't have scientific books to prove my God, I don't have a building full of people carbon dating things based on theory. I don't have explanation or knowledge of everything the "original" Hebrew & Latin bible says, but what I do have is the faith in my heart, mind and soul that God is my creator, Jesus is my Savior and the Holy Spirit is my Guide.
Sorry, but I have no argument for or to those that don't believe, I can only tell you that I do.

really look at you.... first you spout off, there's no thing as evolution, get any prove there is and that god actually did it, make up your mind! your really clutching at straws, whoever said there was no scientist at the beggining of the world...correct there wasnt but they was no MEN no right the bible either and least scientist try and gather real evidence before they make assumptions {not aimed at questioner}

I "believe" that too many are "neither hot nor cold" but blinded
I "believe" that too many are greedy but have the ability to be compassionate
I "believe" that too many only wants to hear what they want to hear
I "believe" that only in the end will "anything" be proven

Not all Christians are against evolution. I happen to be one who doesn't find God and science mutually exclusive. I also think that God used evolution to create. I don't understand why some Christians find this so hard to believe.
