i'm using IE6 on windows 98. i also have an error message that open up on my desktop that says sorry, some files have been corrupted please reinstall the program. but my links did work after this error message. any suggestions

Either IE6 or your Firewall is causing the problem.

Try Firefox instead, free from:

If Firefox has the same problem, your Firewall is the culprit.

You may be able to go to microsoft downloads and try and reinstall IE 6,, Or another option is to do a system restore, To do this you should know about what date the problem began and then go to start,,,, system tools...... system restore and take it back to the date prior to the problem begining,, Thuis just takes your computer back to a date and time when you know it was working properly, Good luck

have you downloaded any new software latley?? if so and think you know what it was you can try uninstalling it and see if it works,, See because sometimes when we download something it can be a corupted download and it does cause problems,,
