light fits around forehead from L.L.Bean?

I bought my third or forth one from Lowes or Home Depot for a price much lower than L.L. Bean. I like L.L. Bean products, but I also like a bargin.

My first was a Rayovac that took 2 "C" batteries, then I tried a couple different types that clipped onto the brim of my hat.

Now I have a Brinkmann with 2 LED bulbs and is powered by 3 "AAA" batteries. I'm on my second year on the first set of batteries. I don't think rechargeable batteries would be worth the extra expense.

A rather funny thing happened when I first used my headlight, As I walked into a store I was working, above the ceiling, one of the clerks, blonde, said "Look a miner" I laughed and said "No I'm an adult". I was working in a liquor store.

I have one I use for hunting when I walk out back to the truck at the end of the day. The LED lights work well to track a blood trail also. They are good. I don't have an L.L. Bean one because I don't buy names. Plus I don't think L.L. Bean is all that great because they go thru other companies. I also live an hour away from the Headquarters in Maine. I have the energizer brand one and it works great. You have Spot/Flood/Full/Red Led light settings on it. Only like 20 bucks and it works great. L.L. Bean probably has the same exact one just 30 bucks more.

I have the Coast LED Lenser and I like it a lot. It is very bright, or if you want a dimmer beam there's a smaller bulb on it.

Yes, buy it. Waterproof, and when it falls and breaks, or the elastic gives out, free replacement. The Bean rules!

yeah, they are great if you have to walk the dog at night, are looking for nightcrawlers or just walking a path to the outhouse at night.....
