French Onion soup made from scratch is delicious but so is Butternut soup. Pea and Ham soup and a nice thick vegetable soup ................. all served with thick slices of buttered homemade bread. Fortunately its summer here so nice cold watermelon will do the trick for me.

I'm a french onion kind of gal myself! And, if I can't have that, then for lunch time I'll enjoy a good cup of chicken noodle or chicken tortilla soup with a grilled ham and cheese panini.
