Yes, you can. They are usually made of nylon and attach behind the head with velcro. The muzzle fits under the chin, covers the eyes, and has an opening for the nose.

Oh, WOW! Do you have a Siamese? They love to talk. Or is your cat in heat calling and making a growling kind of sound? Either way, muzzling a cat won't help. On the other hand if you have a cat that bites the vet can show you how to hold it when you need to do things that cause it to bite without having to muzzle it. If it just bites for no reason you need to take it to the vet to see if it has some type of medical or psych issue that needs to be dealt with. I must say, this is the funniest question I've ever heard about cats. Maybe more info would help.

Yes, there are muzzles that are made for cats, just be sure you get the correct size based on the breed to ensure the cats nose it completely out of the muzzle. Ask a sales associate at a reputable pet store and they can assist you. I personally purchased one for my cat so I could trim his hair as he is a Maine Coon. I would approach him from the back and slide the muzzle on his face. Once the muzzle was on he would not move, bite, or scratch because he could not see. I won't kid you, he would meow and sometimes growl because he didn't like not being able to see to get away.

Good Luck!!

A muzzle will not keep a cat quiet. Hope you are not trying to move some place where pets aren't allowed because you CAN'T hide a cat.

They do have them, but good luck and they get very upset with them. Since your cat is already upset over the carrier and isn't quiet, I wouldn't consider doing it. How about you try this - put a little peanut butter on the roof of his mouth - he will be too busy getting it off to meow much.
Best of luck!

They make muzzles for cats but my old cat hated the thing. Clawed and rolled around trying to get it off of his head, and then just sat in a corner growling and wouldn't let us come near him.

Hell yeah of course these days you can buy a muzzle for anybody but good luck because cats are very sophisticated and are not easy like other animals.

I have never seen them advertised for cats however you can purchase one for a dog of similar size. You must make sure it is snug. Does your cat have claws? If so, you stand the possibility of them removing it. Other than that it should work fine. Good luck getting the cat to sit still while you attach it.

I believe there are muzzles for cats- though cats are actually more likely to use their claws than their teeth.
