some idiot has just started a job where i work. i hate him he keeps saying you look tired and also listens in on conversations i have and trys discussing things that he has over heard i'm so close to telling him to f.... off. how do i deal with this the mans a complete a... hole.

There's other people he can try to be friends with he's just picked on me and i can't stand him. i'm not a nasty person and get on with most people. he's on my case all the time. even to the point where he has tried putting his arms around me.

You don`t have much compasion for this guy do you,its his first time in your works and don`t know anyone and wants to fit in with everything.

Okay here is how i would handle the problem
I would talk to your boss and i would let him know that your having a problem.
Im sure your boss would understand. Tell him you dont want to pass up an oppurtunity such as this job and he is getting in your way of being a good employee.

Have a word with your Superior and ask them to have a word with that person as this is harassment, then just ignore that person. Your Superior if they are not doing this then ask the Manager, tell them what is going on and you want to complain about this person.

firstly if he tells you that your looking tired say to him
he is making you have a complex about your looks and that you dont appreciate being told you look this or that every day.
secondly if he gets involved in your conversation, say to whom your talking to and to him, sorry can we just have 5 minutes private conversation......and walk away.
he will get the message.. but think! is he really that bad?
