Where did you get that? From the pope? Active faiths, irregardless, are religions. Ancient faiths with no modern followers are mythology There is a gray area with Paganism and Witchcraft etc where the modern version doesn't quite match the old time version because of lost information. We know who the old-time religions venerated but not exactly how. But Hinduism has been practiced for millennium continuously.

Now, first of all, why is a Muslim asking this question?
Who ever said these these things?
Why lump us Christians along with yourselves [Muslims]? [because, we're nowhere anything like near you people]
If you want to make claims about others faiths, please have the guts to say it's from your Point of View and don't bring us into your picture.
By the way, most people consider the Koran a piece of pure fiction, in case you didn't know this. And, most people have a better opinion of Hinduism as compared to Islam.
Peace.

PS,
I wonder what set that lady off about me, down there?
Was I rude?
I merely objected to something being foisted upon us by someone who is not one of us.
Sorry if I can't turn the other cheek, but then, not all of us can be the Master, you see.
I'm just a human who reacts like a human, when provoked.

For no good reason. The factual basis of Christianity or Islam is no more valid than the factual basis of the tooth fairy. Neither the bible nor the Qur'an has any particular basis in fact.

if hindu religion was practised and implemented in India, by now there should have been goodness al around in India. Unfortunately the reality is something else, which is really sad for India:-)

polytheism wil receive the title of mythology in western worlds which are based on Christendoms.
However, if you read Genesis 6, which talks about rebel angels marrying earth women and created giant demi-god offspring
this will explain the possibility of every mythical legend from hercules to rama and sita
thanks
peace in Christ
