i would place the bible in the fiction section of the library..

If i could only make ONE change then i would make contraception acceptable on the basis that a large number of people in south africa are catholics because of good old catholic missionaries and so they wont use contraception thus making aids so common their amongst other STIs (I know there are other factors but i see that as being a large one. The lack of contracception has also had other rammifications for them but lets leave it at that)
Oh and on my way out at the end of the day i would have deathmetal played full blast just for the fun of it

But on a serious note:
I'd open up the Vatican archives to the public so i could come back the next day and see what all they are hiding in there...

luiqidise the Catholic Churches assets and give everything to charity, keeping a ten per cent finders fee for myself, tell all the catholics to get a denomination that isnt so hypocritical and start worshiping God rather than the pope, oh and with my ten per cent i would probably be about as rich as roman abramovich and i would follow his example by investing in something (although i wouldnt choose to invest in oil like he did, probably i would invest in microsoft, seeing as how bill gates makes so much from it) and buying a football club

Remove the prohibition on the use of contraceptives by Catholics.
That alone causes the death of many because of aids.

I would immediately disband the church and use the accumulated wealth to fund a humanitarian relief organization.

I would allow people to use contraception, and I would raise awareness about the usefulness of GM crops in allieviating world hunger.
