It's not usually important to them. It's only made important when someone says that they SHOULD believe in God. At that point, their only defense is to say they will believe in God when there's sufficient proof that some God exists. As it is, there is equal evidence against all definitions of god existing, so the believer is the one who has decided that proof is irrelevant, but believes nonetheless.

Because these people are trying to say that us Christians are liars. satan comes to steal, kill and destroy. He wants to place doubt in many peoples eyes because he has a short time left to bother Christians. So he thinks that this question will make some christians turn away from God. But as Christians we know that we worrish God in the spirit and everyone knows that we cannot see spirits. Thank you and God Bless you. But we will see Jesus one day because we know that he will come back so we wait for this day. And when he comes back then all the people who have wrote on this message board thast they are thiest and do not believe will be given a choice in that day to either worrish god or not. Then that will be it! Thank you and God Bless you.

When I was a teenager and in my early twenties, I wondered about whether God was real. At first, I wanted proof, but after a while, I decided it didn't really matter. I believed in _something,_ and I eventually decided that my experience of it was subjective, and so is the experience of everyone else who feels it. So I just accept that I feel there's something more, and leave it at that.

There is much proof of evolution, relativity, gravity, etc. but there is no proof that any gods exist. I accept nothing without proof. Someone can tell you any god exists, e.g. Moses' god Yahweh, Islam's Allah, Hinduism's creator Brahma, etc. Yes, "divine power should be able to prove itself', but it most certainly does not. There is proof of scientific theories, and I accept them, but there is no proof of the existence of any gods, so I do not accept them.

Exactly. If there was a divine being, I think there would be obvious proof that no one could dispute, seeing that god is supposed to be all-powerful and all. But we all know there isn't any.

I prove God in this way: Every year we have the dead, cold winter. When spring comes and that little flower pokes through and blooms, that is how I know that God is real.
When a baby is born, to me that is a miracle. Just how does that baby know when it is its time? As sure as the stars are twinkling and the sun rises and sets, yes there is a God.

Because, as an empiricist, I believe what I see over what others tell me they see, even if they outnumber me. So I want to see the evidence myself. So in my curiousity for evidence of God, I realized revelation is the answer. It is like trying to understand the artist by looking at the art. So I turned to Nature for clues about God. Then eventually I learned about shamanism, which allows me to seek additional clues within the spiritual domains.

in todays society it's the ultimate question,
if there is a god we are saved if there isn't were on our own with the mess were in.

Secondly if there is a god, who's is it - subsequently who should we all be praying too for deliverance.

for instance are the Arabic's and Christians not having a 'yours is the devil' our 'god's the one' - my dads better than yours at the moment... if god did not exist - if we could prove it - there argument would be pointless.

There is no evidence forthcoming that isn't an individual's personal convictions.

The purpose of the question is to deny the existence of God using passive/aggressive rhetoric.
