Yes it is. Ham has too much fat, that's why I stopped eating it so much.

plain turkey is healthier than ham. the salt and nitrites used to cure the ham are considered to have negative effects on your over all health.

Turkey breast is healthier (less fat). But a turkey leg is probably the same as ham.

I think so. I don't eat pork. I've heard that pork is supposed to be leaner in fat, but the same goes for turkey.
So I wouldn't say 'much' healthier, but better. Then again, this a somewhat personal answer.

I guess ham is slighly unheathier, just because of the amount of salt that's loaded into it from processing, curing, etc. Ham tastes much better, though.....
