I am a South African citizen and I want to join the Royal marines, I would just like to know, which Visa I should apply for that will allow me to serve, and not be rejected as a result of having the wrong Visa. In other words, I want to be able to focus on mental and physical preparation and not worry that my application, airfares, and moving will be in vain should they reject me on grounds of having a holiday Visa.

I will do that.. But, I would seriously like to show them that I have do my homework on the subject as much as possible. So far thay have given me.. Fly to England, apply for marines, get accepted, fly back, apply for visa, fly back to England.. not really cost effective..
