Whats the scoop on Bear Archery?

I like what i have seen on bears sit but is mathews a better bow? and what are good features on a bear?

I shoot the switch back xt but the only difference I can see is the price never have shot a new bear though I have an old one and it shoots ok

Fred Bear was the pioneer of what we know as today's compound bow. To me, that says a lot by itself. There are many people who are very partial to Bear Archery, myself being partial to Parker, which spun off of Bear years ago.

In my opinion, Matthews is typically a bow for people who don't care about spending a lot of money. A Bear is much more affordable, and I think they perform just as well as each other. What it all comes down to is how the bow feels in your hand and how well you shoot with it. And if the bottom line is money, then the Bear is the way to go.

the choice of bow is a personal choice what one person likes once you handle it you may hate.
I would go and try several brands and styles til you find what works well for you.
Bear is a good brand not sure of cost I haven't priced one in a long time.
I shoot Martin as does my husband my daughter shoots Hoyt and my son shoots Browning
I have friends that shoot Bow tech.
Most people I have talked to that have bought Matthews say that they wish they hadn't spent the extra cash for the name.
But again it is a matter of personal preference.

I been shooting a bear for 15 years killed pleny of deer and antalope, an rabbits with it.
Sure there are newer and more expensive bows out there, but as long as I do well wht the ?
