I was 13....but didn't realize that I had to make Him LORD over my life until I was 19. It was then (2 years ago) when I was 19 that I laid myself aside and allowed Him to take over me.

Can't understand why you asked -- and people answered-- this question. How does it bring glory to God to tell the world what YOU did? "Allowing" Him to take over, and to "make Him" do anything -- do you honestly think you get to tell God Himself what to do? I believe you need to re-think who you are before the Lord.

12 like I am now. I grew up going to church but I didnt really understand while all these bad things were happening to me (parents devorced cousin died aunt got cancer). But just this year I recognized that all those things were a trial and it has helped me understand people and myself and to be a stronger person.

I was about 5 or 6. By 11 or 12, I had thought things through enough to realize there was no more evidence for his existence than for the Tooth Fairy, and I worked my way to Agnosticism.
