It's either Mike Caro or Doyle Brunson who says that he would rather play against a christian because they have a tendency to play hands believing luck and even recount an anecdote about someone who's tell, when they were on a draw, was to play with their crucifix.
So, a christian.

Atheists will card-count, and Christians will press their eyes tightly together, scrunch their face muscles, and have faith the next card will be a Jack of Spades. So, I'd rather play poker against the Christian, of course.

Most Christians are great to play poker with. The tells are just too easy.
I usually start the game with "Now remember, bluffing is lying, and none of us wants to suffer eternal damnation"
Needless to say the game goes pretty smoothly from then on out.

A christian, just because i am pretty good and i want them to suffer a little for the hell they have caused throughout history.
But a christian would also be pretty good because they are good at lying. If they believe they are holding Ace King in their hole, even if there is no proof (if it isn't true) they can show great belief and therefore, are great at bluffing.

Atheists. Because Christians are better liars and I wouldn't be able to tell when they are bluffing.
