That is the million dollar question. No you don't get a
million bucks for the right answer. But I am all ears to
the dear hearts, that have turned their lives over to
The Father, and away from the cold, lonely, dark world,
of Atheism. Many of them do believe in The Supreme
Being, but have been let down by life's adversity.
So they rebel out of anger, and constant bitterness. A cold
hard truth, but it is, what it is. Now this is my question,
people. Are you an Atheist, turned Christian ? In other
words, were you once that, and is now a believer ?
Give me your honest, and best answer. Let me hear, your
story, please. Best answer wins. >>>

Athiests are people that do not believe in God at all. Probably more likely for those that are agnostic would become christian. Good question though :)

I was raised in a christian home and made to go to sunday school until I was 11 when I finally put my foot down and said no more. I am now agnostic and VERY happy with my life. I was atheist for a while but did not find it to be a "cold, lonely, dark world" so don't patronise me. I did not rebel out of anger and bitterness I simply don't believe, but I refuse to rule out the possibilities of a supreme being as I am not that arrogant to think I know all.

Funny how you think that atheism is a 'cold lonely dark world'.
Or that you assume being an atheist means being angry and bitter.
If you have found something in christianity, then more power to you, but don't make baseless assumptions about the rest of us.

I am sorry you have been so misled about atheists by the men you rely on for spiritual nourishment.
Most of us were actually believers at one point, who finally came to grips with the damaging nature of faith based doctrines and laws. Most Atheists you speak with, are quite happy, and not running around pillaging and raping people with despair in their hearts. That is a lie, told by men who are desperately trying to maintain reason for belief in what they know isn't so.

Been an athiest from childhood when the witnesses tried to make me feel guilty for every God damn thing from masturbation to feelings for the opposite sex. I knew then, at a tender age that these adults were seriously screwed!!!

This world is not cold, lonely or dark. It is not bitter. It is not due to anger.
Most atheists I know are far more content with their lives than religious who try to be something they're not. I grew up hardcore christian, I've seen both sides.
You have been lied to. Question the motives to fill your head with such nonsense, then question the faith that did so.

It is not so much a rebellion, as a refusal to live with all that unhealthy guilt for no good reason.

Well when you think about it, everyone at one time was an atheists/non-believer, they weren't just BORN a Christian, even if they were baptized as a baby. I accepted Jesus into my life when I KNEW he was real and the first time I actually felt him speaking to me, when I was in 3rd grade at a church camp. God bless,

They do exist, but they are far and few between. Christians turned atheist are 100x more prevalent.
Odds are no-one who is an atheist turned Christian will answer this question as a result.
