My dogs did the same thing. We tried getting raw hides and toys and it helped until they were gone. There is a spray that you can get at Pets Mart or Pet Co. called Bitter Yuck Spray. It has no odor (to us humans) and don't stain the carpet. It keeps them for chewing or licking on thing because the spray don't taste good to them. A bottle cost about 8-10 bucks in Cali. Good luck.

Sounds like your girl is bored, this often happens when they are not given enough mental stimulation. They find and create their own "entertainment" of sorts.
Give her things to chew on that are acceptable to you, and only allow her access to those toys.
Also remember she is just a baby yet and a good puppy obedience class is in order. Check you local paper and find a puppy class, they are usually really cheap or free to attend.
Will do a world of good for both you and your new girl, you can both learn some new tricks lol
Good luck and remember she's just a toddler yet

Offer her alternatives. Bully sticks are the safest for puppies. She is probably beginning her second chewing stage. (molars) It usually starts between 16-20 weeks old. You can also try freezing rubber chews too, it soothes puppy's gums. Offering her alternatives and replcing the wrong thing with an appropriate chew is the best way to teach her. Don't scold her, just take it and exchange for something she CAN chew on.

Dogs often regress with their training (things get better, and then get worse, and then get better again) so continue to work with her. Her not listening to you shouldn't be okay, now is the time to make sure she ALWAYS listens to you... its an indication of what she will do as an adult. As for the chewing, she is teething. You need to correct her when she is chewing something you don't want her to chew, and give her an alternative (beef tendons, nylabones, etc.). Also, puppy proof your house! The majority of what she shouldn't chew, shouldn't be near her in the first place.

The not listening will be a problem if you do not trainer her now! The chewing is normal for a pup. Just give her alternatives to chewing your shoes, kids toys, furniture.....
You can also purchase a product called "Bitter Apple" that you can spray on things you do not want her to chew on.

Keep all small objects away from the floor. Small breeds have the tendency of eating everything they found on the floor and swallow it. Try giving her treats. One in the Am and one in the PM. She will be looking for the next one.
