Do most people know much about Prphet Muhammad(PBUH) the leader of Islam?

He was the last prophet of Islam, he is important today because he was the only prophet that leaded lots of people towards Islam, during the time that he lived the Holy Qu'ran was revealed

Don't listen to the others, they only believe what they hear, before knowing whether it is true or not

To be honest, I used to try to give Mohammed the benefit of the doubt because of the size of the religion of Islam until I read the Quran. In my theology library at home I own two different copies and I was appalled at all of the downright hate expressed in it towards all other religions. It gave me a bit of relief by doing more historical studies on the Quran to discover that most of the top Islamic scholars do not believe that any aspect of the Quran was started until 27 years after Mohammed's death, so I know that he had nothing to do with writing the Quran. Perhaps Mohammed did actually believe in peaceful and a loving God, even if his next generation followers put all of that hatred into the Quran literature. Even though I don't see any of this tolorance or love displayed through Sunni or Shiite followers, most Sufi's I have met are wonderful people.

The only ones that are going to actually speak kindly about mohammad the prophet will be muslims, they are deceived by the teachings of the Qur'an, they actually believe that he was all that and a bag of chips. When people speak evil of Jesus, we don't go around burning people's houses and making death threats, but so is the way of Islam which means =submition. Mohammad was indeed a pedophile, who married an 8 year old named kadisia, he consumated his relationship with this child by the time she was 9, he never shed his own blood for his people, but yet shed the blood of many muslims, christians, jews, and anyone else that dared to declare him a false prophet. Which by the way, if a prophet prophecies anything that does not come to pass, even one time, that is a false prophet, he made plenty of prophecies that failed to come to pass, he never did a miracle, but he plegeriazed dictates from the bible, such as the going up in a chariot of fire (just like Elijah the prophet of God) with the exception that Elijah was indeed taken by God, and has not returned to earth, but mohammad, is dead and buried here on earth, explain that one to me? Jesus never hated anyone, in fact Jesus commanded us to love our enemies, and bless those who curse us, and if our enemies are hungry to feed them or if they thirst to give them drink, mohammad demanded their deaths to the unbelievers. He himself declared in the "hadith" that he believed to be demonicly possessed. that's enough for me right there to believe that he was indeed doing the works of satan.

first he married a christian woman and was great friends with her uncle a priest. later he became a war lord killing many and he married a Jewish girls maybe his 15th wife.
he claimed to be given messages by an angel which he passed on and were eventually written down in the quran. his last wife was a 6 year old girl Aisha when he was over 50

He made two holy sites that he thought Abraham would have used: Mecca and the rock. Too bad that archeology shows that Mecca was founded in the 3rd century CE (300 years after Christ, and over 2000 years after Abraham) and the rock had no religious significance prior to him.

Prophet Muhammad(PBUH*) is not the founder of Islam. He is the final and last prophet that ALLAH(Subhanna wa ta'ala) sent to mankind and Jinn to show them Islam which is the religion of all the prophets(PBUT*) from Adam to Jesus(PBUT*) and those that are not mentioned by name. ALLAH(Subhanna wa ta'ala) chose Islam for the religion of mankind and Jinn. Muhammad(PBUH*) did not found Islam. It is the religion of all 300 prophets(PBUT*) that ALLAH(Subhanna wa ta'ala) sent to Earth and the religion that ALLAH(Subhanna wa ta'ala) chose for everyone on Earth. Everything on Earth willingly and unwillingly submits to ALLAH(Subhanna wa ta'ala) in Islam. Muhammad(PBUH*) was sent to perfect Islam. He was the most merciful man on Earth and did not marry Aisha(may ALLAH(Subhanna wa ta'ala) be pleased with her) against her will. Muhammad(PBUH*) was betrothed to Aisha at 6 and didn't marry her until 9. Aisha chose to marry the prophet(PBUH*) of her own free will and choosing. She was not forced to marry him. Muhammad(PBUH*) didn't consummate the marraige until after Aisha got her period as a teenager. In Islam girls are adults as soon as they get their first period because they are able to bear children and give birth and boys are adults as soon as they turn 14 in Islam because they are able to get women pregnant. It was the custom back then for men to marry girls as young as Aisha. This doesn't make Muhamamd(PBUH*) a pedophile. The Angel Jibrial showed Aisha to Muhammad(PBUH*) in a dream and told Muhammad(PBUH*) that Aisha was going to be his wife in this life and in the hereafter. Aisha was responsible for recording many of the Hadiths of Muhammad(PBUH*) and participated in political life and even led a war against Ali.
