I work at Peirce & Peirce and recently have been given the Fisher account, which is a whale of an account. It will make me tons of money and other associates, such as this guy Mr. Halberstran looks at me like he wants to kill me. He recently ask me to meet him at Tex Arcanna (mexican food), but I think he might do something to me because of his insane jealousy. What should I do?

Are you sure you're in danger, because that seems a pretty petty reason to want to do you harm...(if I'm reading you correctly, the Fisher account landed into your lap as the result of performance, so no one else necessarily moves up if you are suddenly out of the way, therefore harming you is less of a temptation). More importantly, are you afraid? If you are, you need to find an immediate way to face that head-on, because no one wants to live in fear, and you would never be able to enjoy the fruits of your new position. Do you have any friends that might enjoy a night out grabbing some Mexican food? Invite one or two of them out, more for moral support than anything, (you're buying), and go see what Halberstran has on his mind. Good luck.

Besides, in the unlikely event anything happened to you, Patrick and Marcus would be on OUR list, and they surely don't want that.

well, first don't post details about your work on this website because you could get fired for this
this is proprietary information

keep a modest attitude and don't flaunt your success
if you do then people will be jelous no matter how innoncent you might feel

maybe he wants to get some pointers on how to do his job better
stop being paranoid if he wanted to do something bad to you, he would not invite you to a public place and you would probably not have a warning

but if you are so worried tell someone before you go to the place where you are going and who will be there

Keep living in your fantasy world.
Some day you will wake and realize there is someone who will always look down there nose at you, as you are doing to others.

Paranoia is never good.

At least you told us his name. So if smt happens, we will know and we will report it. No just kidding. but do not go if u are scared. listen to your hearth. some ppl might look very nice but their jealousy makes them do stuff they can regret after a while. do not trust others. our society is based on competition. listen to your feelings and intuition

you have a lot to learn... maybe it's cause you are just starting off and are still wet behind the ears; your acting like you are the man... like you are on the top when your really only taking your first step!

Relax, be modist, the girls will come... just be cool.
