I know exactly what you are going through... but it all depends on the texture and condition of your hair. If you are really worried about the condition of your hair... you can ask the salon to put on a temporary color and just low light your hair heavily... it will give you a really neat look...That way you can buy a little more time before you put a harsher dye on it. (And may give you more time to decide what you want as well) Also when you are dying your hair at home it helps to know what color tones your natural hair has (ashy, golden, more reds). That way you can balance your color and it won't turn out orange if you are wanting it to go platinum or honey if you want it strawberry. Good luck!

Most likely, no, it won't fall out. But it will be damaged pretty bad. It will be dry and your scalp may be itchy and sore from all the chemicals. And your hair will probably be easy to break off more, which is why people think it falls out. But before you dye it again, let the stylist know how harsh you've been treating it and maybe she can do a special shampoo to help restore it before you dye it. Try anything, you're hair is important.

the salon will know and determine that, over the counter hair color is usually not that harsh on hair but if you had bleaching done i would ask the salon to give you a deep conditioning treatment after your service and i would try to decide on a color and style that would bring out your natural beauty and get a great hair design to go with your face, just mention everything to your stylist and ask him or her to consider you eye color and if you could have two different shades so you have more dimension, i would also ask for the most experienced stylist in the salon, good luck!

I read somewhere once that if you're going back to dark it's ok to dye it right away but if you're going back to light you should wait and do it gradually. However since you already tried it and want to do it for a third time I would wait as long as possible before you can't stand what you look like anymore (I'd give it 3 weeks). However, if you already have the appt why don't you call the hairdresser and ask her advice?

I think that you are meant to wait a month between colourings. Also be careful if you are going dark as its much harder to lift the dye out at a later stage if you want to go lighter again.... I have had a nighmare with this! Good luck.....

It might because it happened to me for dying it too much. I would keep my appointment at the salon though so you can fix your hair the way you want it once and for all for now. Then I would use tons of conditioner and damgage control shampoo to repair it. I highly recommend Aveda Damage Control shapoo and conditioner. It's a little pricey but it's well worth it!

No, it won't. I once bleached my hair, put toner on it, dyed it, and then dyed it again in the space of 3 days!! It was fine, and suprisingly still in good condition. Make sure you use lots of conditions as well to stop it drying out and frizzing!

it won't fall out if the stylist that you go to knows what he or she is doing... if you had your hair lightened before and you tried to cover it up be certain that the stylist knows and they don't try to bleach it out again that will cause breakage... be honest with your stylist during the consultation and you can get out of there wit great looking hair... the bottom line is that your hair will grow back... but if you and your stylist communicate all this breakage can be avoided

I don't think so, but you need to ask the hairdresser.
