Luke 11:47"Woe to you, because you build tombs for the prophets, and it was your forefathers who killed them. 48So you testify that you approve of what your forefathers did; they killed the prophets, and you build their tombs. 49Because of this, God in his wisdom said, 'I will send them prophets and apostles, some of whom they will kill and others they will persecute.' 50Therefore this generation will be held responsible for the blood of all the prophets that has been shed since the beginning of the world, 51from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who was killed between the altar and the sanctuary. Yes, I tell you, this generation will be held responsible for it all.

John the Baptist was more of the social misfit than Jesus. Both were preaching to the Jewish audience about their spiritual sell out. They had turned Judaism into a ritualistic creed instead always setting standards to keep the letter of the law but in their hypocrisy they violated the spirit of the law. This isn't about being anti-semit, its about what will happen when you sell out principles.

And that generation was held responsible. In Matt. Chp. 24 Jesus prophesied the destruction of the Jews. It came to pass in 70 AD when Titus of Rome laid waste to Jerusalem.

No, Jesus never existed, the 1st century Christians were Gnostics and believed that the savior was actually around during Moses' time.

It wasn't until the Romans decided to canonize the bible that the theory of a literal savior named Jesus became theology.

The Dead Sea Scrolls make this abundantly clear, but Christians are either not aware or purposefully ignore them.

I suspect that Jesus of Nazareth was a lot smarter than Michael Moore. Of course, that's not saying much. My dachshund is smarter and better looking than Michael Moore.
