To clairco I would say that whilst it's not the fault of people of Pakistani origin in particular, UK governments (especially the current bunch of morons) have spent so much time and money pandering to immigrants that the indigenous British people are sick and tired of it.
To whom do white people appeal about racial problems and why are the police more likely to let off errant drivers who say,"No Eengleesh" when they know fine that the driver can understand perfectly. These are but two examples and I'm sure others can cite many more.
I will probably not be around to see it but Enoch Powells predictions are looking ever more likely because the British people are being driven to intolerance.

There are 750,000 living in the UK (1.3% of the population)- most are hard working and god fearing families who contribute much to our economy.

Amongst them is a disaffacted youth (their problem, not ours) and recent immigrant segments that break our laws and abuse our tolerance - both the Immans and the security services must respectively whistle-blow and then imprsion the home-grown knob-ends and immedaitely evict the rabble rousers.

Should we not see a radical shake up of our judicial processes and forget about political correctenss gone mad, there will be more cretins offering responses as above and less moderate and tolerant Brits like me!

The Pakistani community must act NOW or face a Great Britain that no longer feels like home or is safe for them and their children!!!

Apparently around 7-10% of the Uk's population are not english.
So i'd say about 3% of the nation are pakistani.
Cause there's loads of them.
Where i live, there's only about 3 and i live in quite a big town.

have you heard yourselves, jesus, bet your not complaining when your in the corner shop on a sunday night getting your fags cause everywhere else is shut, enjoying a good curry or other ethnic food after the pub or buying cheap goods of the market are you, face it britain is a multicultural society, has been for many years and these people you are slagging off are as much british as you,the fact britain is so multicultural is what makes it unique as a country and people of your attitude not only make it a worse place but really are the outcast and the ones who should be shipping out.

I really do not know the answer, but having spent my first 20 years of life in West Yorkshire, having lived for 3 years in Leicester and now working in Croydon, Surrey - I am happy to be part of this multi cultural society of which the majority of pakistanis are 2nd and 3rd generation and therefore consider themselves british anyway! So I find most of your answers narrow minded and ignorant!

Far too many , and they mostly have come here to flee from the political climate in Pakistan , then complain about ours and want to make changes .
Ours is not perfect , as demonstrated by recent events , but it is still one of the fairest in the world , maybe we try to be too fair at times ??
