You'd be really hungry and irritable for a week. You might lose a few pounds, but you'd gain it back and perhaps then some. If I were you, I wouldn't put myself through that.

Don't do it.

With an all liquid diet your body will crash. Meaning it will think you are starving since you're not eating, so nutrients you do take in will immediately be stored as fat cells. It's possible you'll lose some weight, but that will be just excess water weight, not actual fat.

The only tried and true way to lose weight is a balanced diet and exercise. Try drinking just water for a week instead of pop and juice, that will help detox your body and the reduced sugar intake will help you lose weight.

Basically, never try crash diets. They do more harm to your body than good.

I don't like the idea of liquid diets: They tend to be very unbalanced, which will in itself not be so good for your health. Not to mention it's not so good for your digestive tract.

If you want to lose weight, eat a good balanced diet with lots of fiber, and with food that hasn't been fried: Fried food was a major culprit the one time I had a weight problem.

And get regular exercise: It will help you actually feel good, and rev up your metabolism so the weight you don't want will burn off.

Good luck!

If you go on that "diet" you'll end up in the hospital. Your body needs energy that it can only get from solid foods.
