aknowledging that whoever or whatever youre believing in might not prevail or that they may not be true. you admit that you might be wrong but that regardless you still choose to believe. but if you cant admit you might be wrong then thats being brainwashed. but if you can admit god might not exist but you still believe in him then thats faith because youre taking a chance. right?
so can you admit that god might not exist just like atheists should admit he might?

Atheists admit he might exist? Based on what. Lets be logical about this. What evidence is there that suggests the existance of a god? So far, the paranormal can't even be supported by evidence. Why go whole hog and say that a god is possible?
Do you believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster? Well, you can't prove he doesn't exist (a common argument whenever someone asks for proof of a god). Therefore, by your logic, you have to admit that he might exist.

This is what faith means to you, so for you, the answer is yes.
To Jews, the concept of faith is quite different. The word is emunah, and the root of it means breast feeding. When you add a Hey (ah) to the end of a word, it means something that comes out of the root. The result of breastfeeding from El Shaddai (which means the big breast) is living a lifestyle that is taught in the Torah.
So the true test of faith is "do you follow the Torah."
Yaakov (known as James) by the christians expressed it very eloquently in "Faith without works is dead." If a person says they have faith, and they have no works, then they truly don't have faith.
A person who goes to the Torah for their teachings might say they have faith. But since the word faith is never used in the Tanach, only faithfulness, the true test is the person whose lifestyle reflects the teachings of the Torah has faithfulness. It is something that has been accepted so it is externalized in works OTHER people can see.
There is no example in the Torah where someone said "I have faithfulness." It is only said by one person about another based on their works.
The concept of admitting G-d doesn't exist is about as realistic as admitting gravity doesn't exist. But if that works for you, that's fine with me.
Shalom

That makes sense at the roulette wheel. You choose red, place a bet, believing you have a chance to be right. But faith in religion is not the same. It is a standard by which you and kindred spirits live. It is the tempo by which you dance the song of life. So the chance that it doesn't exist independently is not an issue because you benefit from it in your daily walk. This is true whether your song is atheism or a denomination of theism. Unlike the roulette wheel, you obtain and share prizes with the red community while the wheel spins perpetually.

Nope.
Faith is no doubt.
Faith is the foundation of love.
And how exactly do you prove love, you don't.
Love manifests itself within the person.
Jam 2:18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
