I currently have one who's known to be pretty evil - she doesn't even like me and I feed her. I'm taking two one year old cats of my daughter since she's joining the military as an officer. How in the world do I get the current one use to the two new ones to the home?

Confine the 2 new cats into a room with a blanket or something that smells like the home cat. Allow the home cat to sniff at them through the door. After a few days open the door and allow the cats to introduce themselves on their own. Don't push it and don't force it. Usually it takes a good 3 weeks to a month for stranger cats to actually become friends or at least completely tolerate each other. Good Luck and be patient!

Start by confining the 2 new cats in a room, preferably one with a door that has a small open space at the bottom. Cats are incredibly inquisitive creatures, so your cat should begin sniffing the new ones under the door. After a few days, they will have gotten used to each others scent, and introductions should go more smoothly.

When I got two cats mine was 4 years old then we got a new baby kitten that was 4 wks old. We kept the kitten in a room by itself until. I would let it out when I was home and let them be around each other. We have had them since last november and now they are perfectly fine they fought at first but they will eventually adjust. They sleep in the bed right beside each other all day now!
