carbohydrate would be better for the morning its a slower release of energy so keeps you feeling full for longer meaning your energy/concentration levels are up and you less likely to snack during the day. Good luck!

Not unless it's part of a new diet and exercise plan. The worst thing you can do is have a protein shake, on top of your NORMAL breakfast routine because you are really just adding more energy to the day's diet.
Protein, however, can be very good for breakfast because it will keep you full for a lot longer than something unsubstantial like toast might. Good luck with it all.

Many protein shakes are very low carb. This is a quick way to add protein to your diet. You can add some strawberries, for example, and you have a quick breakfast on the go.
A diet higher in protein and lower in carbs, along with working out, will assist you in weight loss.

The only thing that will help losing weight is eating less and exercising more. Drink a protein shake AFTER working out, it'll help you recover and build muscle. There are no tricks or shortcuts to this...so good luck.

protein shakes are to be drank as a substitute for a real meal. It can be used as a diet resource but you will have to be doing much more than just meal replacement plans. real workouts will need to be done. Those shakes are so rich in vitamins and protein that it can sometimes make you gain weight and muscle.

Drinking meals is unnatural. Our bodies are meant to eat. Those shakes are full of calories anyway, and are usually used by bodybuilders when they are trying to build muscle and gain weight. Just eat some cereal with milk and a piece of fruit instead. It's less calories, and more healthful.
