I'm not Japanese, and I don't feel like bathing with my family. For me bath time is alone time. What do they say, "absence makes the heart grow fonder". I guess that's true because I honestly like my family more after a good long hot bath - by myself.

I don't really agree , but having a close knit family is one thing to cherish.
Bathing I think is really a private matter , especially for females.

Given the atrocious statistics on the "prays" thing and divorce rates in Christian circles, I would say probably.
How about: the family that plays together, says together?

That sounds creepy! Only if you have real small children like less than 3 years old.
