Unfortunately Christian doctrine, leads them to believe that the world is getting worse, that the future will be full of immoral behavior and disaster at every turn and that war will dominate the earth. This prophesy requires support and human action in order for it to come true.
So it becomes a self fulfilling prophesy. Christians learn to hate the 'world' because it is evil, they expect the worst out of humans because they are evil, and as a result, Christian nations, typically end up falling apart with disastrous consiquences.... See the Dark Ages.

lol, it's flawed. It says I'm Evangelical Holiness or Wesleyan. My Pentecostal upbringing did indeed have Wesleyan roots, but my belief system has been pretty thoroughly purged of Wesleyan concepts at this point.
The problem with this particular test is that it uses a lot of terminology that means different things depending on which theological system you're talking about. For example, does "worship" refer exclusively to the segment of an evangelical service that is devoted to music? Or does it refer to the entire Divine Service, personal devotions, liturgy of the hours, etc?

I'm emergent/post modern and not very surprised by the result. I don't like to be 'fixed' in terms of any view of God or spirit. God is probably too vast for most of us to truly comprehend and assimilate. Putting God in a neatly packaged box is limiting and leads to dead spirituality.

No, we give a spiritual view.
To only think carnally is very closed minded.
Most only spend about 80 years in this flesh body.
What is that compared to eternity.
Time to take a spiritual test, a life long examination.

I don't do links, sorry. As for "average Christian," do you know any?
MOST Christians have a personal relationship with Christ and are not interested in religion.
God bless!
