Last night at dinner, I didn't eat my spinach and my sis turned to me and laughed "do i have to do the airplane?" I had no idea what she was talking about and asked her what she meant. She looked at me crazy and asked "are you serious?" and i said yeah and she laughed and walked away.

What does "do the airplane" mean?

hahaha. it means that she is going to put the spinach of a fork and pretend it's an airplane... you know "zoom, zoom, zoom" and you will watch it with your mouth gaping and she will shove it in your mouth.

not kidding.

this is a tactic people use with babies.

That's a way of getting little kids to eat by making it a game.
Taking a spoonful of spinach and making airplane noises coming in for a landing in your mouth. lol... Sounds like you've been a deprived child if you don't know what the airplane is.

PS... I'd be worried if your sister said that she would "do the football team."

HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE! ROFL!
The 'airplane' . You take a spoonful of food and say 'here comes the airplane, zoom , zoom and it's coming in for a landing...' then you open your mouth and the food goes in ....All the while doing this in a very juvenile tone and at the end with some praise and 'that wasn't so bad wad it!'

You asked this same question a couple weeks ago, except it was carrots instead of spinach. You choose a best answer. It's the same for spinach as it was for carrots. Maybe you need some memory exercises. LOL
