There are lot of myths out there about water temperature and health. Ayurvedic doctors always recommend to drink water at room temperature to prevent weight gain. I think it's rubbish and you should drink water at whichever temperature you would like.

i havent heard that before but i know the body has to work harder to cool the water before it can be i guess procssed by the body. room temperature i have heard is the best for you. i dont know any one that drinks hot water. i have also heard that hot coffee does really good things for you to a certain extent.
