figure out your frame size then consult a height/weight chart to determine what is the correct weight for you.

5'7" healthy weight ranges for a female: 123-163

below are links to a frame size calculator and a height/weight chart

the "experts" say that we gain about 10 to 20 pounds between thanksgiving and christmas!!!

No, your weight is just fine. You could probably do with some toning and muscle buffing!!!

First muscle to tone and buff up is stomach muscle. Flex muscle, push away from the table, go for a walk or bike ride for an hour after eating and before having that lucious looking dessert.

At holiday meals if we would all just remember that there is so much more food on the "groaning board" to choose from, that we need to take only one tiny spoonful of each item. Then lay down fork in between mouthfuls chew well and then have a drink of water. Then you can pick up the fork and have another bite.

I guarentee that you will fill up faster and not stuff to where you don't even want to help clear the table.

Then we should all invite our mothers and grandmothers, yes, aunts and great aunts too, to go for a walk around the neighborhood to help the food digest and see all the decorations the neighbors have put out.

Everyone will feel better, get in a nice visit while walking, and not gain weight during the holidays.

After the walk, have a half serving of the pie!!!

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

Just because you are asking, implies that you probably do want to lose some weight. How about shooting for 155 again? Set a specific goal for yourself.

Try for 155 within 3 weeks. Control what you eat, the portions and jogging is a great way for keeping your body in shape.

You do not need to loose weight. . . .you're just a little thick nothing wrong with that, my sis is 5'5 and she weigh 145 pounds and she look perfect.

Anyway I don't think you need to use any weigh. . . ect.

And yes she is healthy

This website helped me A LOT. You enter your weight and age... and it shows you on a chart if you're underweight, over, or average. Also, you can set your goal weight and the date you want to weigh that much... it calculates it and tells you how much you need to lose every week. You can also select foods you've eaten, and it adds up the calories on a pie chart on it's own. You have to make an account, but it's completely free!! I LIKE FREE

Well if you gained 5 pounds over a break you probably need to lose it. Did you eat too much turkey? Haha who doesn't..

I would try and lose maybe a couple of pounds. I don't know how much I am horrible at visualizing people's fatness, just assess yourself. Don't try and lose to much, it is okay to have a little extra on you.

depends on your body frame! at 5'7 it seems your at a decent weight but may be able to lose. there is almost NO WAY you could of gained 5lbs in just a few days. it is probably water weight you are seeing so dont worry about that. you probably taken in alot of sodium and its making you gain that much weight.

you're not overweight, your fine. But if you want to feel healthier and remain a healthy lifestyle, do some cardio a few times a week, eat healthier than you're eating right now and you should be fine. I dont think there's an answer like 'you gotta lose 10lbs'...
