God doesn't tell Christians to go out and kill. Piousness kills. Muslim fanatics most recently in human history believe their religion gives them the right to kill. They are wrong.

Borg, buddy, were animals? Why would you be so wise, yet not see that were nature? I don't get this? Your doing the very thing that is our BIGGEST weakness, your seperating man from nature, why?
That aside the fact remains that we do things out of a precieved understanding of survival, which is a feeling we have (yes I'm using that again) this feeling drives us. But this feeling like I was saying before represents other feelings, that are imprinted on us thru our memories and our experiences. So every human being, (just like animals, you dog, which have charater and personality) has a unique perception of a percieved understanding of survival based on thier experiencs and understanding. So were unique buddy, were individuals, just like most forms of life, and your generlizing us. Wouldn't think a creature of understanding wouldn't see that.....
Show some compassion to, its a flaw'd society we have lived in since, well since we've gotten out of the whole "tribe" thing so were a work in progress...... but we wouldn't of made it this fair buddy, if the truth wasn't that we are GOOD at creating things, we do a damn good job, this I fear thou, is going to be our down fall, we love to worship those things that we create.... maybe something alien to us could show us another way? maybe not......

Yep! People have been using religion as an excuse to murder, rape and pillage for a millennium.
Madness done in the name of God is still madness. I think a lot of folks are going to be surprised on judgment day.

They use peaceful religions as an excuse
I am insulted when people use christianity as an excuse for violence, and I am sure the Muslims are as well.

The latter. I am a fundamentalist Christian and I have no desire, no reason, and no justification for killing or murdering anyone. The only time I would kill would be in self defense or in defense of another that was too weak to defend themselves.
