You p***ed off some intolerant fool for sure, dude.
Happened to me once when I accused a questioner of viciously and unreasonably attacking Christians, even though he claimed to be an atheist like me. My appeal to Yahoo was futile. Yahoo does not give you specific reason(s) for an answer being deleted.

If you truly asked why athiests brainwash children, or claimed that they already DID and were bad at it, you're attacking someone for their beliefs in an aggravated manner, meaning your question is directed at stirring up conflict, not looking for resolution in a reasonable forum.
You're question can be seen as ignorance on the part of common courtesy and what is publicly acceptable to say, or on bigotry aimed against someone for their personal beliefs and a need to publicly accuse of something that we in this nation hold as a morally and ethically criminal offense (namely - brainwashing children). Both are seen as unnacceptable on these forums. Accusing someone of brainwashing children is always a hot issue, and religion especially.
You need to take your problems up in a private place, like talking to your minister or someone else about your desire to "shout out" what you think of others. Not here. Saying "Do they do this?" is less likely to provoke attack than "They do this and their bad at it!" This first was a question, the second was a personal declaration with no true question involved.
I pity the people around you since you seem to suffer from either ignorance, or are a judgemental bigot. Because that is the impression your post seems to offer. I hope it's the first, that one can be cured. Too many people suffer from the second one, and I like to hope for the best in people.

Not sure, it shouldn't have been deleted. I would venture a guess that it happened because a fundi didn't finish the question and just assumed it was anti Christian. That tends to happen more often than not. All that readin is too much for em.
Brainwashing is a problem for all parents.
I have 4 boys, am an Atheist, but try like hell to allow them to come up with their own conclusions. The only time I intervene is when I believed they are being harmed by doctrinal teaching. My dad is a minister and everytime they visit Grandpa they come back with heads full of doctrine.
The last big one scared the pants off of them, because he convinced them that the future was doomed and that mankind was falling into a moral decent that would require God to destroy most of us.
That type of Christian doctrine, needs to be countered, because it is dangerous to society, and makes kids believe that the future is hopeless.

I agree, they never tell you why, I got a perfectly good question on evolution deleted, my guess is it showed too many wholed in the evolution theory, but it makes me mad.
I too have posted questions on brainwashing kids, you have to be really specific, I try to say "tell me what you think" at the bottom to bring it around into question form.
For the record, everyone 'brainwashed' their children to some extent, its called teaching them, they do it in school all the time!
But the real brainwashing is selective media, which is why we all think the war we are in is over terrorists.
Email me if you want to talk about that, I won't do it on here, too many people to make mad.
Jessica - feel free to email

I think questions should only be deleted if they use inappropriate language or are violent.
as for brainwashing - society in general does it. Look at the way children are raised and told to behave.

You can't brainwash someone with reality and the truth. You can only brainwash with lies and fantasy. That's the difference. You are wiping out the identity of 'brainwashing'. A = A.
I've never reported anything. Only people who are afraid of ideas use the chicken***t report tab.

Since we are all basically born an atheist, we have to be ''taught' something different.
As for reporting? I'll report attacks on groups, (mainly atheists and Mormons), sexually explicit avatars. and ANYTHING, that is racist.
My rules, and I stand behind them. If you object, email me, and we;; talk.

I totally agree with you, I feel like it is to easy to report on here and many people do it not because of guideline infractions but because they disagree with your point of view. Good luck to you in your life moving forward.

its easier to manipulate a child's brain then an adults, so when a religious person teaches a child about god they will soak that up and believe it more then an adult. now if you've found god thats great, all the better for. but imposing your beliefs in a child is pretty much brain washing. if you have faith your child will find god on his own. if i had a kid and i told him Satan was cool and all good do you think he would grow up going to church.
