Forget him. Anyone who uses a Yahoo email address is suspect. If he's a legitimate lender, he should have an email address linked to his business.

Do NOT give any personal information to this person, since he may be simply looking for a SS number and other information with which to commit identity theft and fraud.

It's a scam.
No legitimate loan office is going to advertise on Yahoo Answers, uses a free e-mail service or use the name John Brown loans. Would you go to John Brown's Bank? Of course not.
Besides, they'll want an upfront free for a 'security deposit' or 'insurance' and once you pay it you'll never hear from them again.

Check with the BBB first before giving your personal information on line. I'm not familiar with this loan but i would check it out first. Have them email you documentation showing that they are a legit company and what bank do they process their loans through. Good luck

Stay away dear, if he e-mailed you and is using a yahoo address, then you can rest assured this is no good.
A true business will have their own website as well as e-mail domain name.

sounds like a gimmick.
