He died on the cross and came back and then disappeared again.
could it be that he never really left? if he died and came back and then disappeared surely he could have been coming back all the time in different looking bodies??
He was suppose to be saving us from our sins but these days there are so many sins about I think he needs to do a lot more than just come back again!!
The world is out of control with sex, violence, murder, rape, child abuse, muggings, etc, etc, If he is coming back I wish he would hurry up. sort things out and make the world a better place, before we all kill each other or all die from diseases

He was soo pissed at Judas that couldn't stick around, thought about it for a time, but got tired of people like Thomas always questioning him.
Finally he realized that prayer wasn't effective and that he would do a better job 'mediating' for us, if God could actually hear him. So he blasted off, leaving the Holy Spirit, that according to many only worked tangibly for a century.

Jesus died on the cross to cover sin and save man. Before then there were animal sacrafices and you could only talk to God through a preist. Really breifly put.

I think you have taken it literally. He only left his physical form, we will meet him again when we ascend.
At least that is what they teach us. I believe the stories in the bible are such twisted and corrupted versions of the truth (most of which is a 'version' of the truth) and are apocryphal at best. You must understand that these stories were glorified to make people 'sign-up' to christianity. If the bible ended with jesus's death, who would join? What would be the point.
Still, believe what you want. I figure, if god wanted me to be a christian, he would have made me one.

Not only did He die but He defeated death by rising from the dead and in the process has given hope to mankind that all who come to Him may also have eternal life. Jesus Christ left but will come again so now the question is What will you do with Jesus who died for our sins.

Rebirth yes, but to return in same body means nearly 2000 years old even if he rises from his grave. If u decide to live in a make believe world, well it's your choice.

... To allow the world to suffer thousands of years of misery, so he could come back and clean the place up, thereby showing the world how wonderful he really is!
Don't you know anything???
It's all a great farce.
