You need to get rid of it due to use of raw eggs that will lead to lead to food poisoning, caused by salmonella bacteria.

Why are these people spreading such nasty misinformation,,..
Nothing will happen..!
It may be stale and dried out..
BUT the out of date just may be so the shelf stock can be recycled..
Not much can happen,,, chocolate has lots of acids to preserve itself. you saliva and stomach juices kill most all bad bugs and just flushes the rest.
Don't listen to the paranoia of bacteria and salmonella freaks.
keep a clean eating environment wash your hands...
It (poisoning) happens SO rare and then only in very poor "bad" conditions...

Dont eat things like this. It may lead to any temporary or permanent stomach disease. Avoid good choclate also as much as possible if you can.
