Okay here is the issue. I am attracted to a guy that is like 40 something yrs older than me. I already have a great bf. It just sort of happened, I am gonna forget about it, but my question is. . . .WTF, how did this happen. I have known him a long time (over ten yrs) and I just don't know how this happend. I know I should be ashamed but should I tell my bf I have those feelings for this guy. I would never act on them, but I feel guilty and gross for even feeling it, what should I do?

First of all, don't even think about telling your bf....why start something over some 'thoughts' that you are having. I don't know how old you are but as people start getting older, age is only relevant if you're wanting to raise a family. I find myself looking at older ladies nowadays saying to myself, 'Man, I'd like some of that'....which never would have happened when I was younger.

Enjoy your 'infatuation' from afar and as long as that's as far as it goes, don't worry about it......

do your boyfriend a favor and keep you mouth shut. i think it will just cause needless problems for you especially if you are being honest about not acting on the feeling for the older guy.

i'm just curious. how old are you? if this guys is 40 years older than you, wouldn't that make him a senior citizen?? your right, it is gross!!

There are just some things that just happen and there are just some things a person should keep to themselves and this is one of them. Just love your bf twice as much.

well if you would never act on them then i don't see that there is a problem, as long as you are confident nothing would happen then theres no problem with having attraction to someone other than your partner regardless of their age.

Keep on crushing... it's cute. You got this whole father-figure thing going with him. Just don't act on it... he doesn't feel the same way... just enjoy the crush.
