I think a gift card would be a great idea. If you can, try to do a little research beforehand and try to find a chain of restaurants that the flight attendant likes and are readily available in airports, or stores where the flight attendant likes to shop that are frequently found in airports. This will give them the opportunity to grab a few items on those short layovers between flights. Or you can look into one of the gift cards through a credit card company, like a Visa gift card, so that they can be used anywhere the cards can be used.

A gift card is impersonal. Since flight attendants spend so much time making others comfortable, give something that is based on comfort during their travels such as a heated neck roll pillow, foot massager, etc. Remember, flight attendants spend alot of time away from family and friends and a thoughtful gift that will keep them comfortable during their journeys is both practical and sentimental.

How about a gift card to a nice shoe store? Since flight attendants are on their feet a lot, they can often use some comfortable shoes. She can just go and pick something that fits her taste and the company's uniform policy.

Don't do a gift card, it's not personal and being they are all over the place, the card may not be useful is some of the cities they land in.

I love gift cards but only if they are from a store that I love or you can get a Visa cash card. That way the person could use it anywhere but there is a small fee for those. Most banks or credit unions offer them. I think even Walmart offers them now.

I'd rather have a gift card instead of some korny gift that somebody got me because I'm a flight attendant. They are people to, so they have hobby's, likes and dislikes.
