A lot of what you do depends on why the giggling is inappropriate.

If it's nervous giggling cause you're nervous about the situation, think of the feelings of the others. Try to keep with that feeling.

Often people giggle inappropriately because they are nervous about the situation they find themselves in.

You really can't; I know, I tried. The worst giggling fit ever was when I went to see the Godfather when it first cameout with a friend of mine, the theater was packed, and this person right behind us got a coughing fit. For some reason, this hit us funny and we started giggling...this was during the opening scene where the man goes to see the Godfather about retaliating against the guys who hurt his daughter, a very important and quiet scene...we were lost, I thought I was going to throw up I was laughing so hard ande the more we tried to stop,l the worse it got...and every time the person coughed, we were off again. It took about ten minutes to calm down.

I am the world's worst giggler at the wrong moment. The only thing I can do is walk away and stay away until I have got a grip on myself, and the wait a little longer or a lot longer if I can still feel a giggle around

Laugh every chance you get. Don't hold it back. It may get you in trouble every now and then or hurt some feelings, but it will be well worth it in the long run.So go ahead and giggle laugh hopefully others will laugh with you .

Get your handkerchief out or tissue, pretend you have a runny nose, pretend to blow your nose, turn your head slightly away if possible and walk away until the laughing has stopped, life's to short to think of bad things, If the laughing is to loud you'll have no hope. Should it return use the handkerchief trick again.
Happy laughing

You will grow out of it.

Its a bit about self control. You need to practise keeping a straight face and perhaps you could be very irritating and not laugh at jokes as practise.
