The "god" that is referred to in the OT is Jesus Christ. The "god" in the NT is God the Father. There is still only one God, but when the people of the times talked about God, that is what they are refereeing to.

Sara, you are talking about the same God. We can never truly comprehend with the greatness and capabilities of our God while here. But in heaven we will have a perfect understanding.

I know the NT message better, but the OT is also a very important record. The same God. Jesus is God. I like this new covenant better but God dealt with Jews with more legalistic approach because that is their mind set and they wanted to have some credit for their deeds what comes to the salvation. That covenant was appealing for the people like them.

The OT gives you foundation to the NT. The OT prophecies concerning the coming of Messiah are fullfilled in the birth of Jesus, and His birth to a Virgin mother as fortold. You can learn more at Amazing Discoveries.org ,or 3ABN.org may God add his blessing and undrstanding

god kills over 2.5 million people that are accounted for in the bible and we're supposed to believe he is the bastion of all that is moral and good?!
