Depends on what I am reading. I usually can enjoy any books - and tune out distractions, as well. But if it's something I am suppose to be analyzing for a lecture - sometimes I can become easily distracted.

But if it's a novel I'm really enjoying - the whole enviroment around me just slips away and I could sit hours on end reading - and not get distracted.

I do care to read.

i agree i have been in school for quite a while now and it is really cutting into my social life time so recently it has been getting harder and harder for me to focus and read for my classes. all i wanna do is get a real job and read for pleasure and do other things besides read for class. but i do care about reading and i plan to read all the time when school is done and i finally get to choose what to read. how about you? do you care?
