You should not dislike yourself because you come from Bangladesh. You should be proud of where you come from. In America, we believe you are only limited to what you can accomplish, by your own imagination.
If you become a US Citizen, you can join the army (if you're under 35 years old) and you could join the FBI as well, if you wanted to.
The Army will ask you to take several tests prior to being accepted.
The FBI is very competitive and you will be asked to take alot of tests and provide about 20-30 pages of background information on yourself, dating back to the time and place where you were born. They go back and interview EVERYONE, including some people not included in your application forms. President Richard Nixon applied to the FBI and failed to be accepted. You only have 2 opportunities to apply to the FBI, if you don't make it on one of the two, then you cannot ever apply after that.

Being born in Bangladesh is nothing to be ashamed of.
If you are legal immigrant to the U. S., you can join the U. S. military before you become a citizen. Many non-citizen, legal immigrants use the military as an accelerated path to citizenship. I believe that there are restrictions on the types of jobs you can do, based on security requirements, but you can become a citizen in far less than 6 years by joining the military.
After you become a citizen in the military and fulfill your enlistment obligations, you may apply to join the FBI or the CIA, or whatever government job you desire.
And anyone who tells you that you will not be a 1st class citizen is a 2nd class citizen themselves.

Actually you can join both and if you speak a foreign language your services will be very much sought after. The FBI requires a college degree of some kind but they may wave that based on your language skills. You do need to work on your grammar and writing though so that any applications and tests you will have to fill out or take you will be better prepared to handle. The only real problem is with people born in a foreign country and security clearances. Foreign born, naturalized citizens like yourself sometimes have a harder time getting a security clearance or one that is high level.

It's a shame that you feel there is something to regret in being born in Bangladesh. When you investigate what is involved in becoming a citizen of the US you can check up the current answers to your questions. It may be that in six years time you will have grown out of the idea of joining the army. Good luck.

You can join the army without being a citizen you just have to have the right paperwork done, go talk to a recruiter and they can help you. I'm not too sure about the FBI though you might try googling it.

Im not sure but I know of some people in my husbands company that werent citizen's. Of course that was a while ago. I'm not sure what the classifications are like do they have to be a close ally with our country. Your best bet to answer your question is to go see a recruiter.

why you would hate yourself for being born in bangladesh, a fact that with you had nothing to do in the first place, is beyond me.. but that's another story
yes you can try to aplly for all... CSI requuires certain medical and scientific qualifications (chemistry, medicine, biology etc) so that is just like any job
Army, as long as you are not overage and can pass the physical and mental exams, then that's easy too..(please note, applying and getting accepted is the easy part..)
FBI - best to ask them

if you are currently a Legal permanent Resident( Green Card Holder) you can enlist in the military NOW, although you cannot be an Officer or hold any job that requires a clearance.
as for the others, Citizenship is required, although there may be other obstacles based on your home country and background investigation.
