Most people who offer jobs by emails are scammers and should be avoided at all costs. They promise ridiculously high salaries and either ask for all your personal details so they can go out and commit identity theft or else they spin some yarn about paying them some money upfront for some kind of work permit.
If you are writing to some guy who has a free email account. eg. anywhere like Hotmail or Yahoo (natwestbank@yahoo.co.uk for example) then this is obviously fake. If you were dealing with a proper financial institution then their email address would say "@natwest.co.uk" and then you might have reason to believe that this was real. Most scammers use "07*****" phone numbers (mobiles not landlines) and easily obtainable free email accounts. Without seeing the emails to which you refer I couldn't be sure, but my gut feeling is SCAM and I would advise caution - not only with what he is after now, but what you might have told him already about yourself. You could be compromised already.

Who is this guy, and what type of business are you doing with him? Sounds like a scam to get your info and empty out your account.

This is obviously a scam. This guy could do so much financial damage to you before you could stop him, and not only would you never recover, but he will probably never get caught because you voluntarily helped him.

You cant give out details like that, especially if you are unsure. Does he need these details so you can be paid or are they for something else, those details are personal.
