I was using limewire to download music but i deleted it as it didn't seem to be working, what else can I try that is free to use?

you can do the same as me, join as a Napster, They currently have the 7 days FREE trial for music download. You should give it a try.

Not sure...the only decent way then is to find music donwload web sites and download it of the site not have a program.

You can try Utorrent from utorrent.com and just search torrent sites such as torrentz.com. Utorrent uses a microscopic amount of memory and is quite fast.

You can use Frostwire it is exactly like Limewire but it is a smaller program and it goes as fast as Limewire Pro but it is completely free.

i am using limewire as well.. the only reason why it is not working is perhaps it is being block by your firewall.. make sure that your you enable limewire from your spyware or anti-virus...

try bearshare.com if you have dsl then it is hard to use it. But maybe that will help.
