3 dogs are sitting in the waiting room of a vet’s office. One is a Poodle, one is a Schnauzer and the other is a Great Dane. The Poodle turns to the Schnauzer and asks, “Why are you here?”
The Schnauzer responds, “I’m 17 years old. I don’t see or hear very well. I’ve been having accidents in the house. My owner says I’m too old and sick so he brought me here to be put to sleep.” The Schnauzer asks the poodle, “Why are you here?”
The Poodle responds, “I’ve not been myself lately. I’ve been especially high strung. I’ve been barking all the time, I’ve been snapping at people and I even bit one of the neighbor’s kids. Nobody knows why this has been happening. My owner says he can’t risk me biting somebody else so he brought me here to be put to sleep.” The Poodle and Schnauzer ask the Great Dane why he is here.
The Great Dane responds, “My owner is this beautiful runway model. Yesterday she was walking around the house naked when she suddenly bent down to pick up something she dropped. She was bent over and naked when nature took over and the next thing I know I’m on top of her doing the doggie thing. I couldn’t help myself. ”
The Poodle asks, “So your owner brought you here to be put to sleep?”
The Great Dane says, “No, I’m just here to get my nails trimmed.”

This was how i heard it but the are both the same really!!!
There are three dogs waiting to see the vet a terrier a toy poddle and a great dane.
The poddle asks the terrier what he’s in for and the terrier says "I was doing fine with my owners until the baby came and they stoped even looking at me.
I got mad and bit the baby.
So there puting me down.
The terrier then asks the poddle what she’s in for and the puddle says "Im just getting old and mean. I bite when ever i can so there puting me down.
The terrier and the poddle then ask the great dane why he’s here and he says "I live with a beautiful super model who walk around the house naked alot.
One day she dropped something and bent down to get it. I was right behind her and I could not stop myself.
I jumped up on her and humped her like there was no tomorrow.
The terrier then says "so she’s puting you down" and hangs his head in sadness. The great dane replys "No I’m just here to have my nails clipped!"

Other pet warehouses are there to get you to buy their products and hang around their strore. And their trainers are their employees...never forget they have an agenda. Most of the trainers have very little education--if they had actual training and skills they wouldn't be there making just over minimum wage--trust me on this. But even if they did have experience and talent...a group setting is a terrible place for learning to take place. It's distraction training and it is the LAST phase of training not the first. You wouldn't have your child try to do their homework in a toy store, would you? Of course not...the level of distraction would be too high! It's the same with dogs. Having said that, these classes can be an excellent way to socialize dogs...but not to train them. And while they appear to be cheaper than a professional trainer...you have to attend many more sessions to get the same results because of the poor learning environment--so you wind up spending MORE money for less training than you would with a professional. Save your money and go to someone who actually knows how to train dogs. OR, read books and try to train your dog yourself. There is nothing they train at a Petsmart or Petco that you can't do yourself with a couple of hours of reading.
