Let's say the Anti-Christ appeared. And he gave Christians the choice of either renouncing Christianity/God and prosper or die a horrible death. Is your faith strong enough to face a martyr's death?

By the way, we wouldn't really know if he was the Anti-Christ. I'm just saying he'd be an Anti-Christ like figure.

By the way, I'm not sure what I'd do. I'm currently a Christian struggling with his faith. But if this figure was really killing people for not giving up their faith, I would certainly fight him and his people to protect innocents and their beliefs.

No one can answer this question with certainty, until they are actually confronted with the circumstances. Plenty of people can say they are going to do this and do that, but the chips are down, they buckle.

Hey I'm not an atheist really-I believe SOMETHING but not Christianity. However I respect all religions.Anyway if I saw this dude claiming to be the anti-christ and making people renounce their faith I would wonder if the bible really is a little more true than history or science can explain and I may just start praying to god for forgiveness for being such an a-s-s.If god showed up-i reckon I'd die rather than to say I don't see something that I do.

I'd let my life go anytime to be able to sit in the arms of the Father and to never have a worry, never to feel pain, never to cry, never to hurt, never to fear, and to never need again. I would choose Christ over life on this planet to be free of this world any day. I hate the pains and struggles I deal with on a daily basis.

I wouldn't do it to be known as a martyr. I don't care about that. I would stand for my God because I know that He is awesome and He is the ultimate man and loves so well and we will never have pain and sufferering again and that there will never be a tear again.

This I do know. He reigns forever.

If you believe in the Anti-Christ, then you would have to believe in Christ, therefore your belief would only be that both exist. What kind of horrible death? Crucifixion? Fiery train wreck? This would weigh my answer significantly, because I could not possibly choose to die in a way that would cause my hair to get messed up...

I gave up my Christian belief years ago and I did not die. Millions in Europe and North America have done the same in the last century. The Bronze Age is over; why should I care about the contents of a poorly written collection of myths produced then or devote my life to the same?

no, i wouldn't renounce my christian belief. my faith is strong but i don't know if i can face a martyr's death.

you know there are times that you think you're strong enough but the truth is you are not. but i would not renounce my belief even for love. i can fall inlove with someone with a different religious belief but i don't think i can be converted.

The scriptures clearly teach that the Anti-Christ will be so cunning and effective that even "God's elect" will be deceived.

I would like to say that yes I would die for my faith - but who knows?!?

I will not give up my faith!!
imagine all these years God has never let go of his sovereign hands,..all i have, all i see and get is only from Him..Without God, there'll be no peace, protection, or value on this world..how could i ever want to dismiss Him, the Creator who created EVERYTHING but chose to stay near at my heart,..
people may accuse me or torture me, but they could never take away my faith..even when they torture me, they are the ones who'll experience the great sufferings eternally, but me? i'll get the reward of peace eternally...I wouldn't trade Him for nothing, literally..

The reality of this over drawn question is what would you do for your family, your Friends your neighbors your community, even if you didn't really like them but they are all apart of your life. The question is not what WON'T you do it's not what WILL or WOULD you do it's what ARE you doing?
The good things are more simple then that. And that's what even he tried to teach.
