Eerie means strange or weird.
Man, it was really eerie how she said the words "plate of shrimp" while I was sitting there thinking that I really want a plate of shrimp right now.
By the way Ivory, I saw your response to my answer. haha I really wish I was 22, but I'm not. It's been a (little) while since I was 22.

An eagle's nest is called an aerie, not an eerie. And that's a sentence using the word eerie!
