I have more serious things to worry about than people's way of pronouncing words.
The common mistakes mentioned here are often the result of speech impediments, and often not through the fault of their own. I can't for the life of me say words with an "lr" or "rl" (ex: world, jewelry) correctly, no matter how much I practice.
It's hard to learn the right way of saying certain things when you've been taught differently or when you're originally from a different country and have a different native tongue.

Yes. Equally annoying to me are "libarry," "chimley," "warsh," and adding the letter "s" to the end of store names that don't have an "s" on them (i.e. Wal Marts, Krogers, Targets, K Marts, etc.)

Haha.
My dad takes it a step further and says "sammich"!
Of course, he also says:
paincil (pencil)
fainger (finger)
cheer (chair)
warhows (warehouse)
lunyun furl (aluminum foil)
You just gotta laugh.

I don't have any strong feelings about things so silly as that. Perhaps you need a hobby or volunteering time with people who have real problems?

That pisses me off. same with weirdos who say 'matoor' instead of 'mature' (matchur) and crap like 'pacifically' instead of 'specifically.' these people need to move.
