Pray with humility, obedience, and openness of heart to God's loving will. Keep His Will first in your heart and mind, keep your prayer centered on His love. The rest will follow.

God bless.

There are all different ways to pray. And, since everyone is different, leading a different life and such, it's not beyond the realm of possibility to suggest that each person's individual praying "habits" are as unique as the individual.

If you are starting personal prayer from scratch, the key is to not bite off more than you can chew. Don't decide to pray a whole Rosary each day when you only have time for one decade.

Have a favorite Psalm verse? Say it to yourself throughout the day as many times as you want. Carry a prayer card with you, and take it out for a minute of quiet prayer. Read the Bible for fifteen minutes each day.

You can even make the prayers up as you go.

Praying is actually a very easy thing to do. The different ways in which we can pray are limited only by our imagination.

The hardest part is getting into the habit of praying. They say it takes three weeks for a human being to form a habit. Pick a day and, from that day forward, make an effort to pray every day from that time forward. After three weeks, it should be automatic.

Beware - it's easy to slack off.

I'm an atheist, but I will spare you the usual "there is no God" speech, and give you an answer based on my experience as a former Catholic. You can obtain Catholic prayer books at any major book store, and of course some are designed for daily prayer. There is also the Lives of the Saints, wherein you can find the day's saint and the accompanying prayer. I'm sorry you're in such desperate need. Good luck to you.

No particular way ,just say what is in your heart. If you are concerned ,you could say the Rosary daily. Also there is the Devotion To the Divine Mercy which was given to a Polish Nun by Jesus in 1931.It is a simple prayer using ordinary Rosary beads. There is also a novena you can say for any intentions reciting the same prayer. Most Catholic Bookstalls have copies of this.

I am sorry to hear of your anxiety ,i hope what i have said will help you .I will say some prayers and ask God to help you..God Bless.

Mt 6:6-13
6 But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
7 And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.
8 “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. 9 In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

In Christianity there is no clear cut way to pray or a method as such. Just do what the majority do and put your hands together before you sleep and look upwards.

The best example I can give is one that Jesus gave us. God will know what is in your heart. Your heart seems heavy, I will pray for you and your journey.
Luke 11
Jesus' Teaching on Prayer
1One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, "Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples."

2He said to them, "When you pray, say:
" 'Father,[a]
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come.[b]
3Give us each day our daily bread.
4Forgive us our sins,
for we also forgive everyone who sins against us.[c]
And lead us not into temptation.[d]' "

The best way is from your heart with your own words speak to God as you would speak to a friend you don't need prayer books, God wants your thoughts not someone elses.

Well according to the Catholic Church, the basic prayers contained in the rosary. However, I prefer to just talk freely like I am speaking to a friend because God will listen to you. You could try this, say one Our Father, one One Hail Mary, then ask Jesus to help you in specific ways. Or, go ask the priest about his opinion if that is more valued.

in the name of the father, the son and the holy ghost, amen.

prayer....

In the name of the father, the son and the holy ghost, amen.

you're done!!

You don't need a "way" to pray every day... just remember to do it.. you can pray on the way to work, home, walking around, brushing your teeth, in the shower, anywhere you want. God never said you must pray to him at a certain time or place. If you recall, this is God's world... he is around you at all times.
